Welcome to the VResorts QuickTime VR Destination Page for New Orleans.

We'll start our tour of New Orleans in the French Quarter, on Royal Street, just about a block from "party central" on Bourbon Street, and not far from the Maison De Ville Hotel. Royal Street is a bit quieter, and has some really amazing antique shops and art gallieries. But, if you want to stay right in the thick of the action, you can stay on Bourbon Street at the Ramada Plaza Inn on Bourbon, or at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Other choices nearby include the Maison Dupuy, the Ritz-Carlton, the Ritz-Carlton Maison Orleans, and the Iberville Suites.

There are also many hotels along Canal Street, where the streetcars have recently resumed running. These include the Wyndham New Orleans at Canal Place, the Chateau Dupre French Quarter, the Doubletree, the Fairmont New Orleans, the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, the Marriott New Orleans, and the JW Marriott.

Heading down towards the Mississippi River, we'll find Jackson Square. If you'd like to stay in this part of the French Quarter, you can try the Omni Royal Orleans, the W New Orleans French Quarter, the Hotel Ste. Helene, and the Historic French Market Hotel.

Across the street from Jackson Square, we come to the river. Just downstairs and to the right from this spot is the famous Cafe du Monde, where you can get coffee and beignets (these delicious fried donuts are a New Orleans specialty, don't miss them). There are lots of shops and restaurants at the nearby Jackson Brewery complex.

There are a number of riverboats offering cruises up and down the Mississippi.

If you walk down Woldenberg Park along the riverfront, you'll pass the IMAX theater and the Aquarium of the Americas, and come to the mall at the Riverwalk, near the Convention Center, where you can also find the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, the W New Orleans and the Windsor Court Hotel.

Finally, we'll head back to the French Quarter, down Decatur Street.

Take a virtual tour of these destinations while you're finding a great place to stay.
