VResorts promotional CDs use photo-realistic QuickTime Virtual Reality (QTVR) movies to provide complete guided tours of resort properties and local attractions.

Blending photography, narration, music, graphics and video with our 360° panoramas gives potential visitors a sense of the total resort experience. And VResorts can add animation to bring motion and sound to your web pages.

Controlling the Pano

Controlling the panos is simple: the Quicktime browser plug-in loads the movie and gives you a small control panel that looks like this:

Click on the minus sign (or use the control key) to zoom out, and click on the plus sign (or use the shift key) to zoom in. Left and right arrow keys control the direction and speed of the motion, and simply dragging the mouse across the pano will do the same.

What technologies does VResorts use?
The industry standards: Director, Flash, Shockwave, QuickTime VR, XML, PDF. Want some other technology that we’re not already using? Just ask.

Why QTVR and not IPIX?
Simply, QTVR offers less distortion and better movement control. VResorts marketing package is all about photo-realism. If you are marketing your resort using panoramic photography, it is a good idea to promote the best features of the resort in a controlled manner. VResort panoramas allow your guests to experience the views of your resort as they will during an actual visit.
